Five rooms, five kinds of work. Each room has three desks, and each desk is one AI lab's best model. A job moves from room to room like a folder on a belt, and a room passes it on as soon as its fastest robot is done.
Every room is judged by one real benchmark — a public test for that kind of work. Better test score, faster robot. The top scorer finishes a task in 0.8 s; a robot that scores half as well above the floor takes about twice as long.
"What if one lab did everything?" Each row puts that one lab at every desk and times the whole job. Best mix hires the top lab for each room instead. No lab wins every room, so the mix is always fastest. Tap a lab to watch it sit in every room.
The scores, models and labs are real. The seconds are made up — a test score isn't a stopwatch. The clock just makes the gaps easy to see. Management uses Epoch's all-round index, because a manager needs a bit of everything.
